The TAAG C31 SPID Kit is a multiplex RT-qPCR test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 using RNA reverse transcription and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) in saliva and respiratory tract (such as nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, and nasal swabs) collected from individuals suspected of COVID 19.
The Kit contains all the primers and probes necessary for the simultaneous detection of the N1 region of the SARS CoV 2 gene N, the SARS CoV 2 gene E and the human RNase P gene (used as internal control). The following Real-time PCR kits can be used for amplification and detection: AriaMx (Agilent), StepOnePlus ™ ️ (Applied Biosystems) or CFX96 (Bio Rad).
